Anyway, tonight's forbidden city was "good but not perfect" as Pok puts it. As in a gestalt sense of way, every thing was good but the whole picture was not. The themes and contrasts were excellent; the costumes, backdrop and the props were aesthetically pleasant; the performers were experienced and talented; nothing to complaint about either. The crux of the matter however, was that it was rather disjointed and did not flow that well. I guess there were too many happenings and too little time (2.5 hrs). On the other hand, the play did put Empress Cixi in a different perspective from the one I learnt of her in history 1101 four months back which was rather refreshing.
Will post New York New York pictures up in a week or so. ok goin to bed. So not looking forward to tomorrow morning's class. I got the blahs....

Shit!!!After 40 episodes of 妙手人心3, the ending was terrible. Waste my time... thats 40 X 45mins.
My don's pineapple tarts have been invaded by an army of ants. Half the container had to be thrown down the chute. *heart aches*
Due to overspending (again), and crazy amount of make up classes, my KL trip have been changed to Singapore Zoo. Hilarious. Thankfully, YL knows someone who works there who can bring us behind the scene! Hope I can get a close encounter with the seals!!

I feel like a second class citizen in my own country.
Nope you cannot walk through Suntec Convention Centre to Citylink
because the IMF delegates are doing so. You have to walk to Milenia Walk so that you can walk to Marina Square.
You are subjected to body and bag checks because you want to eat at Kopitiam @ Cityhall because the IMF delegates are around that area.
Restuarants @ suntec @ 6p.m. are not even half filled. Who's going to compensate the economy because of this IMF thingy?
Want to know how the world thinks of singapore? check out this add! http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/5344456.stm
Seriously, what a fraud.

[Yes skank! i still hate you! I hate you for blemishing my character and insulting my intentions. So i wish you disappear from the face of this earth!]-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Too stress to think clearly.. so decided to come here and blog a while...theme of the day..
some music recommends!
(1) Christina Aguilera's New cd. [ok so i'm a christina aguilera fan]
Actually it comes in 2 cd. One modern one+one old school one. The old school cd rawks! The music in it goes by the style of Big Band. But heyyy, like louis armstrong said, if you had to ask, you never know.
(2) Henryk Gorecki's Symphony No. 3 Op. 36. Symphony of Sorrowful songs.
The music is rather ..... chilling to the bones yet touches the soul... actually its rather hard to into words. Its written in the 1960's and to reflect the war theme and WWII. If you like the Last Samurai OST you gotta check this out!!
(3) Lisa Ekdahl's heaven earth and beyond cd
Chill out jazz with unique vocals and I love the guitars.. Some of the songs are classic jazz oldies while others are new stuff. Excellent cd to relax to...
Anyway Jay chou's new cd sucks well unless you like his rap songs which occupies like 80% of the cd. I think I liked only one or two songs and only moderately. This cd gives me impression that its rushing to increase sales, thus compromising the quality. Give me the old albums anyday. ..
okays... back to the books... (again) ARGH!... Till I update next... [which i think will be a long long time.. haha]...
