Oh.. I finally went on my birkie’s shopping trip and guess what? I did not buy any! Ya, but that does not mean that we did not buy anything.

As I was half an hour late, Meiyin went shopping alone and she bought a mango top! As I lost the urge to buy birkies, we headed to Heeren as she wanted to buy Harvanas slippers (Jennifer told me it cost $5 a pair in Brazil) and I found Kelvin and Ben working there, Small world! I found a bright red pair but I decided to k.i.v. After she got the slippers she wanted, we went to Mambo where we bought the same funky big yellow bag. Next, we walked around Heeren before going to Paragon to check out the jeans at Guess?. As there was nothing and it was already 8.30 p.m, we went to Thai Express for dinner. With a contented stomach, we went to Wisma’s Topshop as she was contemplating whether to buy a top. In the end, we walked out of Topshop with our purchases. Oh btw, I bought a limited edition Adidas shoes from there.

After sending her home, I went to pick up my friends at Kallang Bahru. A supposed 5 minute car ride took 20 minutes to go because there is no Kallang Bahru on the PIE(change airport). Destination Cosy Bay was ensued. It was damn nice except we were all too lazy to go right to the top as the toilet was on the first level. As it neared their closing time, they started shooing everyone out. We headed to Geylang to see the prostitutes. It was quite interesting because at each lane, different groups of prostitutes congregate. At the first lane we passed, it was the young ones. Thai, Chinese (PRC), classy (PRCs) with boob jobs, transvestites were found in the following lanes. We went to eat Geylang Beancurd after that as I was too tired to drive home. The weariness of being awake for 18 hours had caught up with me.

As I am typing this, early on a Saturday morning, I am looking forward to cheap, sleazy ktv session with ivy, ernie and yingy later in the day. Ok, back to bed. I need to sleep off the hang over that is starting to develop.

one of those..

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.
Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Happy 21st Birthday Natty!~ And hope you have a fantastic trip! Let's meet up when u get back!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, yesterday was quite an experience.

Met Pearlynn and QL for Seoul Garden for lu-ner (lunch + dinner) where we ate till we were stuffed and the buffet ends only at 945pm! The fun thing was that we were playing masak- masak with real food! Although some tasted quite bad, I can say overall was rather good.

Next, we went to get our k-fix at kbox at cineleisure. Although we were suppose to get like only 2 hours of singing, they forgot that we were still inside! As a result, we got an extra 45 minutes! (although teo heng sleazy ktv is still MUCH cheaper)

Hmm, I am so glad the Great Singapore Sale is over. Town is so much less crowded!

After that, we went to Bali Bar (I heard it as Barley Bar) which was found behind Meridian Hotel. It's an open air bar which looks pretty much like Fisherman Village except that instead it has a road instead of the sea. The place is really chic and it being within the city yet away from the fast pace of life, which is a great plus point! When the soccer match between morocco and brazil was over, we to meet Tyrone and Eugene.

Whilst the guys were watching their soccer, Pearl and I had a really great heart to heart talk. Though there were some issues that had past, but we brought up and talked it through. Through that, we really had a better understanding of each other and I’m really glad our friendship can take the test of time. Love ya babe!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Its almost one month since I started work. At the beginning, it was rather hard at the initial period but after a while I got the hang of it. It starts to get interesting. Although there was a lot of OT and everything, at the end of the day, my boss makes an effort to thank me. It makes it all worthwhile. I am glad that I did not give up at the beginning.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh! Did you know there is a Sakura Restaurant at Far East and it does not serve Japanese food? It serves thai.
