seeing that this blog has been not updated for a VERY long while, i decided to share smt with everyone.

during cny, i went over to my piano teacher's place. she gave my brother and i a tea pot (those for making chinese tea with) each. Mind you, this is no ordinary tea pot. Invested in it are the efforts of removing the lead and other impurities of the porcelain pot. Moreover, it has been fine tuned such that it is only a specific flavour of tea can be used only. These efforts take months of patience. She told me that although she very much couldn’t bear to give us the tea pot, but looking at the bigger picture, we could appreciate the teapots longer than she could as we were much younger.

Her generosity was amazing and it really touched me. It also taught me to open my heart and learn to forgive.
