ARGH! This is utterly annoying. My blog just disappeared when I was half way through it! Anyway, like the title suggests, the dreaded day has come for me - the re-opening of school. School is not exactly that bad. It fills me with some of the fondest memories but well it’s the routine of running to class, boring lectures, ridiculous tutorials and impossible examinations that irks me. Restarting school means the restarting of all these.

Anyway, sociology of deviance was rather interesting today. The lecturer defined masturbation in different concepts. To do it in private, the act is considered a pleasure; in public its being a nuisance of oneself while in a hospital, it’s an honorable act. This showed that the definition of deviance is dependable on context.

On lighter issues, it seems that TV finally recognizes that there are female viewers. Instead of showing women beauty contests, they are now showing “Manhunt” which featured males trying to be the next hottest model. In today’s episode, the guys were forced to strip down to their underwear and go sky diving! Isn’t amazing how far people would go for a 6 figure contract? However, I must applaud to their courage to do so. Did I mention that it is one hot show with lots of hunks? Girls out there go watch out for it!
